Attorney Ausaf K. Farooqi
Attorney Ausaf Farooqi focuses his practice on family law, estate planning, and probate litigation. Mr. Farooqi has represented clients in every aspect of family law, including divorce, legal separation, child custody, child visitation, child support, orders of protection, annulments, pre- and post-nuptial contracts and enrollment of foreign divorce judgments. He has obtained favorable settlements and successful judgments on behalf of his clients. Mr. Farooqi has also been appointed as a guardian ad litem by the Circuit Court of DuPage County.
Mr. Farooqi is also an experienced estate planner, utilizing a variety of tools including last wills and testaments, revocable grantor’s trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, family limited liability companies, and advanced directives, to ensure that his clients have a complete estate plan customized to their individual needs. He compliments his estate planning experience with experience in Probate disputes and contested estates.
Mr. Farooqi specializes in the area of Islamic estate planning and Islamic family law. He has given dozens of lectures, presentations, and speeches regarding these topics. He has engineered customized estate plans, prenuptial, and post-nuptial contracts that specifically meet the needs of Muslim clients living within the United States. He regularly works and consults with religious scholars and other experts in the field to ensure his products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
